This FSA program deals with using digital media (animations) to create awareness on care, precautions pre, during and post pregnancy. This initiative of making a virtual nurse in rural India is the first of the kind in South Indian states like AP and Telangana in the aspect of detailing in 10+ critical issues in local language Telugu, English and Hindi, about the causes, symptoms and precautions for IMR-MMR.

Further to it, FSA is working on developing tracking mechanisms and more material (videos) on other chapters like malnutrition, health living, etc. to give support to the National Health Mission in the guidance of Hon. President of India. We are hopeful to work with state govt, Central Govts and CSR initiative missions of MNCs and NGOs in Rural and Urban areas. For visiting the series - Video on YouTube.

Join Hands with FSA - Health mission (Child and Mother Health)

As it is a mission of national and state interests, FSA would like to request all likely mindset individuals, teams to join us in this team opportunity to on this massive mission. This would help us in reaching out to more beneficiaries and to utilize them in their Primary Health Centers, Urban Health Centers, Anganwadi Kendras, Public advertising places, etc. In continuation to this, once this project is impressive and beneficial, we can make these videos in all the required regional (local) languages.

WHO commends India for its groundbreaking progress in recent years in reducing the maternal mortality ratio (MMR) by 77%, from 556 per 100 000 live births in 1990 to 130 per 100 000 live births in 2016. India’s present MMR is below the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) target and puts the country on track to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) target of an MMR below 70 by 2030.

Transparency in Government Functioning and Information Sharing

Over a period of time, Institutions have collapsed putting unbridled arbitrary powers in the hands of political leaders which is dangerous to any democracy. Honest, efficient Officers are getting sidelined while those who side with the people in power are able to survive, occupy positions of importance whichever is the Government marginalizing the role of the neutral bureaucracy.

The Foundation will work to strengthen the honest, neutral, efficient bureaucrats who are getting marginalized whichever is the political party in power. Corruption, inefficiency have become the hallmark of Administration resulting in total failure of delivery systems.

Of late, Governments have come up with an innovative approach of direct benefit transfer schemes to eliminate the role of the bureaucracy to the extent possible in delivery systems. To study them and come up with practical solutions which can improve overall Administration is an important objective of the Foundation.

Rural Development Transformation

In spite of 60 – 70 years of huge funding given to Rural Area Development, attempts to build the social infrastructure in terms of employability is not accomplished at much scale.

To study what went wrong with the existing systems and suggest improvements to improve the performance is one of the major areas of concern to work on for the Foundation. Opportunities in Rural Farming with modern farm mechanization is still on paper. Agriculture is the backbone of the Indian Economy. Inspite of its share in GDP coming down drastically, still disproportionately huge number of population are dependent on agriculture. Mechanization is happening at a very fast scale in this sector and the population displaced from agriculture have no skills to find employment in other manufacturing and tertiary sectors. To examine these gaps work for skill upgradation is also an area for the Foundation.

Agriculture to be sustainable in the long run needs to be organic. To study organic alternatives their relevance efficiency and recommend cost effective productivity increasing organic alternatives is also an area of focus for the Foundation India is an ancient land with rich cultural diversity.

There are structures of heritage value with which history of the local area as well as legends and myths are associated with. This is one of the least explored area. Each village has its own tradition, its own Gods and Goddess and history rich with legends and culture. To identify these structures and monuments of historical importance, assist the local community in owning it up and give it the necessary publicity as required so that they get due attention in the broader community.
